The Atlanta Hamfest is a premier annual gathering for amateur radio enthusiasts in Georgia, recognized as a ARRL Convention. Traditionally held at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta, this event has a rich history dating back 98 years to its origins atop Stone Mountain, where members of the Atlanta Wireless Society (now the Atlanta Radio Club) convened to celebrate their shared passion for radio communications .​
